Two weeks ago today I was packing my bags for a trip to Salt Lake City. It was, as is everything with adoption, a leap of faith. And, boy, am I ever glad that I leaped.
Sophia Grace gets more beautiful everyday. She is changing before my eyes. Tomorrow is her first appointment with her pediatrician here at home. I’m looking forward to talking with him about her growth and development…and I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that she’s put on an ounce or two.
Each day Sophia spends more and more time with her pretty brown eyes wide open. She’s beginning to enjoy floor time. Here she is stretching out on her new quilt from Grandma Joanne.
